Planning Ahead

Have you ever attended a funeral or memorial service and noticed things that you liked or disliked?  Have you ever discussed those thoughts with loved ones?  Planning ahead is often focused on the financial aspect of the funeral, but what about creating a personalized service and having your wishes in writing?

A common misconception is that the only way to plan a funeral in advance is by paying for it.  Anyone can come and arrange their own funeral with no financial obligation.  

There are benefits to funding a funeral in advance.  Not only can inflation be held in check, but funds can be conserved for final expenses, that might otherwise be exhausted by a nursing home stay.  Funds are fully transferrable, should you move or choose another funeral home, and secured, as directed by Commonwealth of PA laws.
