Obituary for William C. Patterson

William C. "Bill" Patterson, age 65, of Glassport, died March 15, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born August 8, 1953, he was the son of the late William A. and Lillian C. (Heveker) Patterson and the husband of Ruth A. (Serena) Patterson. Bill was a retired maintenance worker from the Midtown Plaza Apartment, with 38 1/2 years of service. He is a member of the Park Baptist Church and served as a trustee, was a former member and deacon of the former First Baptist Church of Glassport and a former dart ball league member with Highland Grove Methodist Church. Bill loved animals and music, especiallly The Beatles and collected die cast cars. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his beloved pet dogs, Hannah and Buddy: siblings, Edward (Judy) Patterson of Hemet, CA, Sharon (Charles) Patterson-Arrigo of White Oak and Cindi Patterson of Elizabeth Twp.; sister-in-laws, Carol (Carl) Cupp and Mary Serena, both of Glassport; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Edwin Serena.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 30, 2019, 11 the Park Baptist Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15133.
