Robert Brown Obituary

Robert J. Brown, age 29, of McKeesport, died on April 5, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  Born September 17, 1994, in McKeesport, he was the son of Gordon Brown and Florence Kearney.
Robert found peace in the simple pleasures of life.  He was often seen walking along the bike trail by the river or kayaking with friends at Ohiopyle.  His love for the Penguins was unwavering, and he cherished the moment when he received signed memorabilia from his favorite player, Sidney Crosby.  He was also an avid Steelers fan who never missed a game and a cherished memory of his was attending a game and waving his terrible towel.
Robert's warm smile and gentle nature touched the hearts of those around him.  His friends will fondly remember the times spent cheering on their favorite team or exploring the great outdoors together.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by a brother, Gary Brown; an aunt, Tanya Marsh; grandmother, Katie Kearney and his beloved cat, Calvin.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Kearney.
Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
