Michael G. Markovich

Michael G. Markovich, age 72, of Port Vue, died March 9, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital. Born April 19, 1948, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Katich) Markovich and the wife of Charlene (Cipriani) Markovich.
Michael retired from the Borough of Port Vue Street Department as the head foreman after 52 years. He was a graduate of the first class of South Allegheny High School in 1966 and continued to the University of Illinois School for Broadcasting. Michael was a member of the Prosveta Lodge Club, Clairton sportsman club, and Elizabeth sportsman club. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Steelers in his free time.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael F. Markovich of Port Vue and Nicole Markovich of McKeesport.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mylan, Pete, Mary Ann, and Marion.
