LaVon J. (Campbell) Estochin

LaVon J. Estochin, age 88, of McKeesport, formerly of West Mifflin, died May 31, 2019, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center. Born April 30, 1931, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Mary E. (Bachelor) Campbell. LaVon retired from McKeesport Hospital, where she was an EKG Technician with 28 years of service. She enjoyed working on her laptop, reading, playing bingo, trips to the casino. LaVon loved traveling with her family and visiting her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Flatley of Glassport and Barbara (Richard) Babjak of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matthew) Minnitte of FL, Michael (Jessica) Babjak of Elizabeth  and Mark (Candice) Babjak of FL; great-grandchildren, Adriana, Grace, Brynn, Halie and Abby; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, LaVon was also preceded in death by siblings, Pearl Linderman, Charles Campbell, Ellen Crawford, Martha Boot, Shirley Pomycala, Dorothy Rollason, Evelyn Brucker, Marion Holloway and Edward Campbell.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
