Joseph F. Nesteruk

Joseph F. Nesteruk, age 94, of Liberty Borough, died October 31, 2019, at UPMC Mercy. Born November 24, 1924, in Library, PA, he was the son of the late Mark and Mary (Urbanski) Nesteruk and the husband of the late Helen L. Nesteruk for over 61 years.
Joseph retired from Luti Sign Co., where he was a painter and commercial artist. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during WWII. Joseph was a member of St. Mark Parish of Liberty Borough.
He enjoyed old movies, Pittsburgh Steelers, and he always had a sweet tooth. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Joseph is survived by his children, Nora Nesteruk of Greenfield and Mark Nesteruk of Liberty Borough; granddaughter, Amber (Michael) Bair of Murrysville; great-granddaughter, Addison; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Joseph was also preceded in death by siblings, Alphonso, Helen, Nora, Irene, Dolores, Albert and John.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mass of  Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Parish of Liberty Borough, 12:00 p.m. Committal prayers and military honors will follow in New St. Joseph's Cemetery.
