Dorothy A. (Wertz) Baran

Dorothy A. Baran, age 73, of Port Vue, died October 11, 2021.  Born December 24, 1947, in Homestead, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Ruth (Davis) Wertz and wife of the late John Baran.
Dorothy loved riding motorcycles with her late husband.  They each had their own and enjoyed rides together, taking in the scenery.  
She is survived by sons, Charles (Karen) Lofstrom and David (Tara) Baran; grandson, Jacob (Beth) Steinberg; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Michael, and Allison; brother, James (Karen) Wertz.  Dorothy was also preceded in death by a brother, John C. Wertz, Jr.  Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 2-6 p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery Port Vue.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.  Charles Danforth, Supervisor.
