BettyJo Reeder

BettyJo Reeder, age 64, of McKeesport, died of natural causes on July 2, 2019, at home. Born November 16, 1954, in Dravosburg, she was the daughter of the late Larry Baylis Reeder and Mary V. Reeder and the life partner and soul mate of Thomas Ramsey. She was a licensed manicurist after finishing high school. Betty Jo was a mother before anything else and loved her daughters extremely. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson Aaron. She enjoyed gardening, taking walks, and hanging out with her sister near the pool. She had a nonstop sense of humor and a loving heart. She gave the best hugs that would fix any problem.
BettyJo is survived by her daughter Shannin M. Reeder of McKeesport and step-daughter Tommie Lynn Cash of McKeesport; grandchildren Aaron J. Reeder and Kevin, Carl, and Mystique Cash all of McKeesport; great-grandchild, Damoni Allen of McKeesport; sister, Cheryl “Poopsy” (Michael) McKelvey of Dravosburg; brother, John Reeder of Dravosburg; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Ricardo Aaron Ramsey; and sisters, Rosalyn M. Reeder and Loretta Ann Reeder.
