Nancy (Barnes) Schneider

Nancy "Nan" Schneider, age 92, of Port Vue, died at home, July 24, 2019. Born March 22, 1927, in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Margaret (Burland) Barnes and the wife of the late Lester N. Schneider.
Nan was a retired elementary school teacher for South Allegheny School District. She earned her Masters Degree of Education, from California University of PA. Nan was a longtime member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church and the Port Vue Woman's Club.
Nan is survived by her children, Jill (Kenneth) Ricchino of Port Vue and Barry Schneider of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Travis Ricchino, Kira (Ryan) Shaw, Paige (Michael) Seelhorst and Breanne Conley; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Ryder, Presley, Emery and Blake; son-in-law, Robert Conley.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nan was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Conley and brother, Richard Barnes.
Private family visitation and funeral services were held at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial took place in Mt Vernon Cemetery with Pastor Jody Dausy officiating.
