Michael D. Gach

Michael D. Gach, age 72, of McKeesport, died November 11, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born December 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Evans) Gach and was the husband of Donna L. Byrne.
Michael was a retired security guard. He was a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a member of AMVETS and the McKeesport Lion's Club. Michael enjoyed oldies music, Pittsburgh sports, and he especially enjoyed fishing at Pymatuning Lake.
In addition to his wife, Michael is also survived by his daughters, Kerry Ann (Frank Rush) Gach of Munhall and Michelle Gach-Hanlin of Brentwood; step-daughter, Deanna (Carlos) Carvalho of Sewickley; six grandchildren, Brittney Rush, Kaylee Rush, Dezarae Hanlin, Carlos Carvalho, Ayden Alton and Austin Alton; a sister; also nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, November 17, 2019, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Charles Owston will officiate.
