Lena God (Como) Caione

Lena (Como) Caione, of Glassport, and formerly of White Oak and Versailles, died May 14, 2019, at her home.  Lena was born in Palena, P. Chieti, Italy, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Assunta (Testa) Como.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Caione.
Lena was a seamstress at the former Kadars Men's and Young Men's Apparel, in McKeesport.  Her Catholic faith was central in her life and she was a recipient of the Manifesting the Kingdom service award. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish, Christian Mothers/Women's Guild, Ladies of Charity and the Alter Society. Lena was a perfectionist in everything she did and was a wonderful cook. She was a  member of the Palenese League of America. Lena cherished her many friends and the time she spent with them.
 Survivors include, sister-in-law, Nina Intrieri of Glassport; many nieces and nephews.  Lena was preceded in death by siblings, Anthony Como, Gaetanella Trozzi, Mary DiMartino and Luigi Como.
As was her request, no visitation will be held.  Father Vincent Velas will officiate a private committal service at New St. Joseph Mausoleum.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com
