Ernest L. Marasco

Ernest L. Marasco, age 96, of McKeesport, died October 4, 2019, at Kane Regional Medical Center in McKeesport. Born February 18, 1923, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Anthony and Angeline (Marnell) Marasco and the husband of the late Joanna (Broerman) Marasco. After serving in the United Stated Army and fighting for our country in WWII, Ernest began working as a stonemason, where he developed his love for hard work. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending his time reading. Ernest is survived by his children, Margaret Willard of White Oak, Ernest L. Marasco Jr. of White Oak, Kathleen (Paul) Diangelo of White Oak, Antoinette M. Marasco of White Oak and Theresa (Patrick) Margliotti of White Oak; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Barone; close friend Joseph Pellecchia. In addition to his parents and wife, Ernest was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
Inurnment will be in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery at a later date.
