Sandra Lee (Buono) Pomycala

Sandra Lee "Sandy" Pomycala, age 81, of Plum Borough, formerly of Port Vue, died March 13, 2021, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born June 23, 1939, in Dravosburg, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio (Arch) and Rosa (Klink) Buono and the wife of Richard A. Pomycala for 60 years.
She was a member of the Saints Joachim and Anne Parish. Sandy's greatest joys in life were her family's happiness and caring for her home. Sandy enjoyed family
gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Sandy is survived by children, Brent (Beckie) of North Washington Twp., Terri (Robert) Wright of Macomb, MI, and Beth (Elwood) Balog of Cecil Twp.; grandchildren, Kelli (Paul) Simon, Shawn (Michelle) Wright, Rick (Jordain) Pomycala, Dave Pomycala, Jonathan Balog, and Andrew Balog; great-grandchildren, Paul, Michael, Avery, and Greyson; sister, Rose Ennis of Whiting, NJ; also many nieces and nephews.
Private family services were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 600 Waterfront Dr #210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or a charity of your choice.
The Pomycala family would also like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to her many caregivers.
