Renea "Snowy" Russell

Renea “Snowy” Russell, age 46, died on February 13, 2020, at home. Born on a snowy day, November 9, 1973, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late JoAnn (Ruggier) and David “Buddy” Russell.
Renea was a 1991 graduate of McKeesport Area High School, and she worked primarily as a pharmaceutical assistant at UPMC McKeesport & Presbyterian, Westmoreland Hospital, Rite Aid, and United Healthcare. She was a lover of music, TV, and movies, and her trivia skills were legendary, as was her zeal for life, love, family, and friends.  
She is survived by her beloved cat Brutus; siblings, Michael (Laura) Russell of North Huntingdon, Corie Burtner of McKeesport, Ross Burtner of Duquesne, and Shawn Burtner of McKeesport.  She was also loved by two nieces, five nephews, and by many, many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, February 17, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
