Paul Matthew Vrabel, age 65, of McKeesport, formerly Pleasant Hills, died November 23, 2021. Born January 10, 1956, in Clairton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Ann Carole (Humenik) Vrabel.
Paul was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, then studied Theater Arts at Community College. Paul was a talented cartoonist and drew hundreds of pictures that he shared with family and friends. He loved dancing, performing, and music, especially the Beatles and James Taylor. He loved singing and often sang Taylor's lullaby song as he paced the floor like a new dad holding his newborn nephew Derek. Paul loved doing impressions of famous people, especially Sly Stallone as Rocky and Jim Ignatowski from the Taxi TV series. In his youth, Paul enjoyed playing golf and other sports with his brothers, enjoying family picnics, going to concerts, and spending time with his girlfriend of over ten years, Lea Lehtinan Woody, whom he called the love of his life, and their beloved dog Schatzi. Paul worked for many years at Finleyville Furniture, delivering to local celebrities such as Mike Webster, whom he was delighted to meet.
Paul is survived by his siblings, Victor, Vivian, Carole, Therese, Albert, Valerie, Celeste, and Clare, plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel and Tim Vrabel, as well as companion Lea Lehtinan Woody.
