I'll never forget how beautiful you looked when the wind blew through your hair, with your ears back, running through the yard to me with the biggest smile on your face. Your eyes lit up when you saw me, and so did mine, Mylee, my girl. Your love gave me a warming spark in my heart that would always brighten my day; the memories of you still bring the same comfort to me. Regardless of your health and rapid loss of sight, you were always by my side through everything. Through it all, your companionship withheld stronger than any human's friendship would. You were always there, from getting the mail together to sleeping with me and even cooking with me.
