Michael Wedel Obituary

Michael "Mick" Wedel, age 62, of McKeesport died April 11, 2020, at home. Born September 17, 1957, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Fred and Dolores (Schaffner) Wedel and former husband of Patricia Slavick Wedel.
Michael was part of the Class of 1975 at McKeesport High School and was a proud baseball player. He loved to watch all sports but especially enjoyed cheering on the Steelers.
In addition to his former wife, he is survived by his daughter, Rachel Wedel of New Mexico; siblings, Greg "Jake" (Cathy) Wedel of North Huntingdon and Denise Wedel of McKeesport; nephews, Brenton and Jordan (Alyssa); nieces, Moriya (Danny Palmer) and Kira (Steve Fiori); and great-nephew, Colton Michael Wedel.
Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
