Marlene Simmons Obituary

Marlene Simmons, age 72, of Dravosburg, died August 21, 2021, at Riverside Care Center. Born March 27, 1949, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Richard and LaVerne (Elkins) Mabe and the wife of the late Alvin R. Simmons.
Marlene was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the American Legion Woman's Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and sewing.
Marlene is survived by her children, Michael (Ann Marie) Simmons, Tawnya Simmons, Christoper (Ruth) Simmons, and Angel (Pernell) Washington; grandchildren, Danté, Christina, Daryn, Destinee, Da'Naysha, Jade, and Tat'Talayshaa; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Montana, and Antonio.
Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
