Madaline J. "Bugga" Menzies

Madaline J. "Bugga" Menzies, age 83, of Liberty Borough, died March 31, 2019, at home. Born March 11, 1936, in Port Vue, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Gwosden) Sucha and the wife of the late Charles Donald Menzies.
Madaline dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and a member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Madaline enjoyed bingo, reading and watching basketball games. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Doug (Lisa) Menzies of Port Vue and Kathy (Dan) Minnicks of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Michelle, Staci, David, Shaun, Daniel and Jessica; great granddaughter, Lilly; step-grandchildren, Brandon and Dana; step-great grandchildren, Brandon, Jr., Gianna and Mila; sister, Nancy (Milan) Washowich of Port Vue; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Madaline was also preceded in death by her son, Charles "Tim" Menzies.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on April 3, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 until the time of service at 8 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Brandon Mozingo will officiate. Inurnment will be in Round Hill Cemetery at a later date.
