Louise J. (Galeziowski) Volponi

Louise J. Volponi, age 90, of Liberty Borough, died on June 29, 2020, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries Assisted Living. Born July 17, 1929 in Allison, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Galeziowski, and the wife of the late Mario F. Volponi.
She is survived by sons, Philip and Mark (Carol) Volponi; daughter-in-law, Margueritte Volponi: grandchildren, Michael (Catherine) Volponi, Rose Volponi, Samantha (Ian Case) Volponi, Kimberly (Kevin) Volponi-Klepeisz, Rebecca (Jacob) Boddy; step-grandchildren, William H. Johnson and Nicholas E. Johnson; great-grandchildren, Wheeler Volponi, Desmond Volponi, Serafina Mackelfresh, Violet Mackelfresh, Brayden Case and Greyson Boddy; sister, Eleanor (Todd "Jack") Higginbotham.  In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by son, Guy M. Volponi; granddaughter, Candice D. Volponi; brothers, Edward and John Galeziowski; sisters, Nellie Kufta, Helen Bentley, and Mary Miller.  
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, July 3, 2020, from 4-5 p.m.
