Be the first to offer your condolences on Kathleen's Tribute Wall
Kathleen Alice Krausmann, 70, of McKeesport, PA, passed away on July 21, 2023, from natural causes.
Born Kathleen Alice McCarrison on April 6, 1953, she leaves behind her husband, Gary, and her children David, William, Alan, Keith, and Amanda. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandson, and two daughters-in-law.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and James, brothers James, Johnathan, and Kenneth, as well as sisters Dolly and Patricia.
Kathy was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and lived her entire life in the Pittsburgh area. A devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she remained the cornerstone of the family until her passing.
Kathy welcomed firstborn son David in 1973. She met Gary in July 1978 in Braddock, PA, and they married shortly after in October 1978. They then moved to Munhall, PA, where William was born in 1979 and Alan in 1980. Then, after moving to West Homestead, PA, Keith was born and she became a full-time stay-at-home mom. Amanda joined their family in 1994.
Kathy had a loving smile and an infectious laugh. She always had a kind heart and made friends very easily. She was interested in her daytime soaps and enjoyed playing various online games such as Pogo.
She lived the past several years in an assisted living facility in Irwin, PA, where she passed. A private Celebration of Life was held by family members, who will miss her greatly and hold her in their hearts forever.
Thank you to the staff of The Grove at Irwin for Kathy’s care and to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory for the arrangements.
