Jack A. Helsel, age 67, of McKeesport, died March 9, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born January 24, 1954, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Jonathan and Philomena (Ross) Helsel and the loving husband of Lynda (Johnson) Helsel for 26 years. Jack worked as a machine inspector for Motor Coil in Braddock and then as a security officer at Jefferson Hospital. He enjoyed reading sci-fi books, watching wresting, and Penguin games. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Joseph (Maureen) Helsel, Keith (Marina) Helsel, Kimberly Helsel, Thomas (Amanda Nigriss) Shields, Allison (Kevin) Swauger, and Shannon Helsel; grandchildren, Riley, Jasmine, Aiden, Kaylee, Keira, Kassidy, Addison, Nicholas, Christopher, Jake, and Adam; siblings. Janie (the late Michael) Mikula, Anney (David) Hartman, and Richard (Heidi) Helsel; adopted daughter Ammie Callahan and many nieces and nephews.
