Daniel Deemer Obituary

Daniel Joseph Deemer, age 73, of McKeesport, died October 15, 2023, at home.  Born August 20, 1950, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Helen (Nizinski) Deemer and the husband of Dottie L. (Braucher) Deemer.  Daniel honorably served his county in the Army and was on active duty from 1968 to 1974.  He was stationed in Vietnam and completed his education and training as a Field Wireman.  During his service, he was decorated and awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge of the U.S. Army.  Daniel was a very beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend. A champion of life, whether on or off the field, he was devoted to all that he loved.   In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by a sister, Patricia McCabe of Allison Park, PA.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, James, Arthur, Charles, William, Edward, and Jospeh Deemer, and sister, Marie Quesada.  Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00 am, at St. Angela Merici Church located at 2701 Kelly Street, White Oak, PA. 15131.  Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
