Charles Russell Gilmore

Charles Russell Gilmore, age 53, of McKeesport, died January 25, 2021, at UPMC Mercy due to complications from a fall. Born June 29, 1967, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George W. and Evelyn J. (Fillo) Gilmore and the husband of the loving Susan T. (Snyder) Gilmore.
Russell was a private contractor and business owner of Charles R Gilmore Construction LLC. He restored his classic cars and was a real Mr. Fix-It-All. When not working on a new project, Russell enjoyed the outdoors, going camping and fishing on his boat. He was a fun-loving and generous man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Kathleen G. (the late Paul) Malice, Georgette G. (John) Smolak, and Robert S. (Connie) Gilmore, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 2 to 6 p.m.
A private burial will be in Saint Mary German Cemetery.
