Alice M. Moonis

Alice M. Moonis, age 70, of White Oak, died at home on October 11, 2020.  Born October 19, 1949, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Alice Mae (Polak) Burris and wife of the late Edward Moonis.  Alice worked at Baldock Health Care Center, now Transitions Health Care as a Nurse.  She loved to travel, especially on cruises.  A cruise was not complete unless it visited her favorite island in the Caribbean, Passion Island.  She loved to craft, and you could always find her creating something.  She is survived by children, Christine Steighner, Christopher Harris, and Mary (Bill) Deamer; step-son, Don (Ruth) Moonis; six grandchildren and a sister, Sharon (Mack) Lawrence.  She was preceded in death by a step-son, Michael Moonis.  Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.  Chris Odasso, Owner.
