Chico Hale Obituary

Thank you Chico for providing us with comfort when we didn’t know we needed it... For laying on our laps when we felt alone...Your presence was so big in this world to be such a small dog... Thank you for being happy to see me whenever I walked through the door... Thank you for being a real member of our family not a dog, not a pet, but someone whose comfort and happiness was a determining factor in all of our decision making... Most of all, thank you for being my best friend... Each of us has a thing that is uniquely ours that makes us happy and free. You loved to run and play... You were best in your own element free with no cares at all running to visit all your friends all shapes and sizes... you loved making and meeting new friends that was the best part... their wasn't a soul that could deny the shine you bring when you enter the room. I can picture you from the first moment we met you, there was nothing regular about you. In fact... you looked like a weird Lil reindeer that was my first words to you... you never barked unless you had too.. you never messed with the babies even tho they wasn't the nicest to you.. and that's what made us love you even more... You grew on us pretty quickly you were just so smart... it was crazy kinda like you been here before... everything you learned you picked up so fast and was so good...You were a picky eater but we figured out your likes very quick and you got every piece of food you loved so much.. it would amaze me on how much you eat and never gained a pound... I didn’t mind cooking food for you either... You also had these amazing satellite ears... you heard everything miles before it came.. But my favorite thing about you was your almond shaped eyes... They were so soulful and warm... I swear Chico was part human because there was so much depth to his eyes... I’ve never seen that in any other animal. I love the pencil stripes on your toes... your characteristics were just so cool and different and you had such a big personality... What I wouldn’t give to have seen you grow up with the twins... You loved them immediately... man.. you’ve only been gone for a day and it feels like months... I hope you’re running through a field with thousands of yellow tennis balls. Maybe Jt is throwing some too you.... I’d like to picture you this way not the way I last saw you. Just know we miss you every day and hope you are running free as you deserve to be. Chico boy, my sweet adventurous playful lil pup, words cannot translate what I have to say about your huge personality packed into your 6 pound lil body. What can I say other than I love you, we love you, everyone who was around you couldn’t help but to love you. You basically owned McKeesport! You have truly changed my life and showed me unconditional love and support my forever playful cuddle pup. Rest well with all those your family has loved and lost sweet boy.
